Mode of transportation in Shipshewana. An Amish community.

Heading west

Good morning from Potato Creek Campground, North Liberty Indiana.

Arrived here yesterday. It's a lovely campground. Had a little trouble backing into my site due to a few well placed posts that made it interesting. The posts are still standing and my RV is unschathed.

It's been a while since posting. I have been to Syracuse, Rochester, Erie, Sandusky, Elkhart/South Bend and Shipshewana, I visited with friends and family along the way. The heat heat and humidity are getting to me. I have tent campers all around me and I can't even imagine sleeping in this climate.
I am soft. My pioneer spirit is lacking!

While here I will be spend a lot of time with my friend and card making guru Joan.
she is having a couple of card classes this week plus overnight guests. Should be fun. Oh and who could forget the pot luck meals.

So I will post a few pictures and that's if for now.......ciao....

Saturday July 6

Hello again,

I am in East Kingston RI, near my brother's boat at Wickford.
After a harrowing trip from West Point, I arrived here on Wednesday at Wawaloam resort with
Jenny and Cathy on board.

This is from Greg's boat. It's a 34 ft Beneteau. Very nice
sailing vessel.

We sailed on Thursday the 4th for about 4 hours. Then we took a break while i
checked on and tended to Emma.

In the evening Greg motored us out of their mooring and we dropped anchor to watch great fireworks.
It was nice.

The humidity and 90 degree temps are really knocking me down. Not used to them.
Feels a lot like Guam! lol
Yesterday we went over to Jamestown and Newport. Weather was hot but breezy.
Got to see a lighthouse. Nice.
And had wonderful seafood at the Moorings.
So, I have loved spending the 4th with Greg, Debby, Cathy and Jenny in a very Americana setting.

Here are a couple of photos of my patriotic grand blessings.
